1 banana
125 ml soya/oat/almond milk
2 heaped scoops of vanilla protein powder
1 tbsp nut butter, my fav is hazelnut
3/4 cup ice
Blitz in a blender and enjoy!!
Mel’s tip: always keep the sliced banana in the freezer for smoothies – much nicer than fresh as they make the smoothie really cold & it’s a great way of avoiding throwing fruit away – freeze it as soon as it looks like it’s on the turn and you won’t need to add any ice!
